Provider Terms
Last updated: 07-10-2026
The terms for providers who offer services on AstroHQ. DRAFT. This text is a first version for review. It has not been checked by a lawyer, and highlighted [brackets] still need decisions or details.
1. Who these terms are for
These terms apply to anyone who joins AstroHQ to offer services ("provider"), in addition to the general Terms of Service. You are an independent professional, not an employee, partner or agent of [Company legal name].
2. Joining and approval
- You apply through the onboarding steps: your details, the personas you offer (for example astrologer or palmist), your credentials, and an identity check.
- Our team reviews the application and your personas. A persona counts only once approved. You can add another later and it is reviewed the same way.
- You must give true information and keep it current. Wrong or misleading details can lead to removal.
3. Offering services
- You can offer only the services that belong to your approved personas. Some services are set by us (price, minutes, how they run); others let you choose your own price within a range or your own minutes.
- You keep your availability current and keep the times you accept. Cancel with as much notice as you can; repeated cancellations or no-shows can lead to removal.
- You deliver each service yourself, at the quality and in the way described, and use the meeting link or channel we provide.
4. Conduct and quality
- Be honest about what you can and cannot do. Do not promise results, cures or guaranteed outcomes.
- Do not ask a customer for payment, contact details or business outside the platform, and do not pressure anyone into buying remedies or products.
- Treat customers with respect. Do not use abusive, sexual or discriminatory language.
- Do not give medical, legal or financial advice as if you were a licensed professional.
5. Customer information
You will see customer details, including birth details, only to serve them. You must keep them private, use them only for that service, not share or sell them, and delete them when asked or when no longer needed. A breach of this section can lead to immediate removal and legal action.
6. Fees and payment
For each service, our commission is shown to you before you enrol: [percentage or fixed amount as set in each service]. Customers pay AstroHQ. We pay you the provider share [when and how: payout terms to be decided; payouts are being set up]. Taxes on your earnings are your responsibility. We may hold a payment while a complaint is looked into.
7. Reviews and ratings
Customers can review you. You may not pay for, write or trade reviews. We may hide or remove reviews that break our rules.
8. Ending
You can pause or stop offering services, after completing the bookings you have accepted. We may pause, suspend or remove you if you break these terms or the law, or if there are repeated customer complaints.
9. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes are decided at [City for disputes]. [Lawyer to confirm]
